P6LS Shannagh-More Trip 2024

P6LS headed to Shannagh-More on Wednesday 23rd October to Friday 25th October. They were full of enthusiasm and keen to try out all of the outdoor challenges.

Their first activity was the adventure walk in Tollymore and it is safe to say that the pupils were fearless and loved getting wet and muddy!  After a yummy dinner the kids were ready for a new challenge and this came in the form of a walk through a section of forest with obstacles along the way.  Sounds easy?  Did we mention they did this whilst wearing blindfolds and in the pitch dark?!  Pupils supported and encouraged each other and got to the end without losing anyone! 

Day 2 

After a hearty breakfast pupils were ready to embrace high and low ropes climbing as well as wet bouldering in Bloody Bridge!  The kids were amazing and pushed themselves to try these new things, feeling really proud of all they achieved.
