Santa's Grotto 2017
Santa's Grotto, held on Friday 8th December, was huge success again this year. Some real snow was a bit of concern of us in the morning but it certainly added to the magical Christmas feeling and enabled Santa to arrive in style on his sleigh! It was great to see so many families enjoying the festive fun and we would like to thank-you all for supporting this event.
Pupils enjoyed a special visit with Santa and we are glad to report that the children all made it onto Santa's nice list, much to the relief of their parents! There were craft activities, stories from Mrs Claus, a Christmas movie and a mini- disco. There were also lots of lovely things on offer in the craft fare to help with ideas for presents or simply some nice little treats to take home.
The Parents Group were busy, as always, serving refreshments, face painting and holding a Christmas raffle. While relaxing in the dining hall families were entertained by the singing talents of Cara and Matthew, both very talented past pupils. A huge thank-you needs to go to Mr Duggan for his endless artistic talents. It never ceases to us, staff, pupils and parents, how he magically transforms our school into a festive wonderland. We would also like to thank all staff and parents who helped out at the event and of course all our amazing families who came along to ensure its success!
Merry Christmas everyone!
