P6 Trip to East Coast Adventure Centre
Both P.6 classes enjoyed a fantastic end of year trip at East Coast Adventure in Warrenpoint on Friday 24th June.
Pupils chose to do something active and adventurous following the amazing time they had in Shannagh-More earlier this year. They enjoyed lots of fun team games on the beach with Shoot the Sheriff and the screaming race being favourites! Pupils really enjoyed speeding along on the banana boat and many of those, who wanted to, loved being thrown off into the water. Canoeing in the lovely calm bay was nice and relaxing. Pupils worked in teams to canoe along and were able to keep their canoes steady to swop onto the banana boat when it was their turn. Pier jumping was enjoyed by many pupils, though many preferred jumping from the lower pier like penguins! All it all, it was a wonderful trip. The staff from East Coast Adventure Centre complimented the children for their lovely manners and willingness to embrace the activities and have a go!
A huge thank-you to Patsy and all the staff from East Coast Adventure for ensuring our last trip in P.6 was great fun and will be one all the children will always remember!
