P.6 Newbridge Taster Day 2016

On the 20th June both P.6 classes enjoyed a fun-filled taster day at Newbridge College. Pupils got to try out some master classes in subjects such as Art, Drama, Home Economics, Technology, ICT, Science and visit the Library.

A huge thank-you to all of the staff and pupils from Newbridge College for their very warm welcome.

P.6 used thermoplastic to create key rings.  They filed  and smooth the edges of the keyring, before it was polished, heated in a special oven and then twisted into shape.  Lucas was a star pupil and won an Ironman figure head created by Newbridge's 3D printer.  Wow!  We want one of those too! :-)
