P.6 Taster Day at Newbridge Integrated College

P.6 pupils and staff received a very warm welcome from the staff and puils from Newbridge Integrated college during their recent taster day on 4th June 2013.

The children had the opportunity to try out a few master classes and practical sessions to give them a feel for some of the exciting lessons available at Newbridge.  Some children made special keyrings in Technology or made pizzsa in Home Economics, whilst others tried out a drama master class.  Some groups had fun designing safety helmets for eggs and others got to create a sprite with moving eyes in ICT.  It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for the pupils, who represented our school really well with their excellent behaviour.  A huge thank-you to Newbridge staff for such a warm welcome and for organising the event.  A huge well done and thank-you to our wonderful tour guides from year 11, some of which were past pupils from Bridge.
