Money Week (19-23rd January 2015)
In Bridge IPS this week the children have been celebrating Money Week. There has never been a more pressing time to teach children how to handle money and to encourage good financial habits such as saving. Teaching financial responsibility is vital and we hope children in Bridge have learnt some personal finance education in a fun and creative manner!
- We have had visits from Bank Of Ireland and First Trust.
- Planning the costing of a party.
- Counting and recognising sterling coins and notes.
- Bring and buy sales.
- Young Enterprise Workshop.
- Children have brought in old coins still in circulation.
- We have raised an impressive £577!
A huge effort made by all classes. A big thank you to all pupils and parents!!
