Harvest Service 2015
On Thursday the 8th October Primary 5 pupils led our whole school celebration of the Harvest Service. We were delighted to have Reverend Dr. Mark Gray from Bannside Presbyterian Church to celebrate with us. The primary five pupils performed their prayers, readings and acting brilliantly and the whole school community was extremely proud of their efforts. Well done boys and girls!
P.5 Pupils shared the story of Jesus feeding the five thousand and Mrs Devlin thanked all of the pupils and parents who have so kindly donated food for our food drive in our school's effort to make a difference to local families in need. All of the food kindly donated will be shared between the Storehouse Banbridge, represented by Mrs Kerr and St. Vincent de Paul charity, represented by Mrs McClatchy.
This was our first opportunity to come together as a whole school and sing together and it was indeed very special for all of us and especially for the new P.1 pupils and the many proud parents who also attended. It was also lovely to welcome back Mrs Tranmer, who is now enjoying her retirement. She thanked all pupils and parents for their lovely gift - tickets for the Eurostar for her first visit to Paris, which she hopes to visit sometime in the spring.
Look at the huge amount of food we collected in our efforts to help local families in need for some support.
Thank you so much for all of your contributions.
