Belfast Giants 2017

As part of 30th anniversary celebrations over 178 pupils and staff enjoyed free tickets to see some ice hockey on Friday 24th November.  The Belfast Giants very kindly gave free tickets to local primary schools and we are very grateful for their generosity!

The NI Connections Friendship Four Ice Hockey tournament involved four US NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) teams taking to the ice at the home of the Belfast Giants, The SSE Arena, to compete for the Belpot Trophy.  The Universities competing in the match we saw was Clarkson University, RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute).  

We had a blast watching this fast paced game!
